The Mexican Cultural Institute in NYC joined forces with Celebrate México Now in 2023, a milestone marking the festival's triumphant 20th Edition from November 14th to 21st. In this celebratory week, the Institute emerged as a vital catalyst, casting a brilliant spotlight on the tapestry of contemporary Mexican culture within New York City. From the spellbinding rhythms of Grammy winner Antonio Sánchez to the fusion finesse of Ampersan and the magnetic presence of Mayan rapper Pat Boy, the festival welcomed an impressive lineup of esteemed artists whose creativity enthralled audiences. Additionally, enlightening discussions and showcases brought forth the works and perspectives of photographer Daniel Ramos, culinary maestro Diana Wangeman, artist Ximena Pérez Grobet, alongside acclaimed authors like Jazmina Barrera and Valeria Luiselli.
